Casino Night Fundraiser
The FSP Rotary Club had a very successful Casino Night Fundraiser on March 7th which raised over $4500 for the Restoration of the Historical Frazee House in Scotch Plains. The Restoration of the 18th century pre-revolutionary home is the clubs Centennial Project. Club President, Patricia Plante, expressed that “the home, and the legend of Aunt Betty Frazee, has enormous historical significance for our communities and our nation. We look forward to the day when the site is used as an educational resource for our schools, a community meeting place and a passive park for all to enjoy”. The club has raised to date nearly $75,000 of what is expected to be a million dollar project spanning the next 7 years. Shown in the photos are just some of the nearly 100 Rotarians and Friends who generously enjoyed the evening.
